The Tahar Sebti Institution facilitates and supports the schooling of autistic children in its classes.
Only a small number of autistic children are enrolled in school in Morocco. So far, they have difficulties to integrate themselves into the regular educational system that is not necessarily adapted to their needs.
The project involves adapting the Tahar Sebti Institution classes to make them more accessible to children with mental disabilities, especially autistic children. For that purpose, learning is based on a pedagogical method adapted to their pace and their needs, under the name of ‘Applied Behaviour Analysis program’ (ABA).
Autistic children are also supported by psychologists to attend regular schooling.
