Groupe AMH

WHO ARE WE ?

Founded in 1992, Groupe AMH is a social entrepreneurship organization. Officially recognized as serving the public interest, it operates in the fields of health, autonomy, education, and training, especially to the benefit of people with disabilities.

Groupe AMH seeks to develop the physical and functional reeducation sector in Morocco and to improve access to healthcare; to promote the autonomy of people with disabilities, and to support their social participation; and to provide innovative and quality education for all.

Our mission

To contribute to the promotion of rights and to launch initiatives in favor of vulnerable groups, particularly people with disabilities, in the areas of health, education and training, in order to encourage their socio-economic inclusion.

Our vision

To become a national leader and an African reference in terms of social services and promotion of people with vulnerabilities’, especially these with disabilities, socio-economic inclusion.

OUR HISTORY

1992: Creation of Groupe AMH

Groupe AMH is created to address the lack of dedicated infrastructure and support systems for people with disabilities. It carries out awareness-raising campaigns to appeal to public authorities and to the population.

2001: Inauguration of our hospital, Centre Hospitalier Noor de Rééducation et de Réadaptation Fonctionnelle

By creating an economic model based on equity and solidarity between socio-professional Centre Hospitalier Noord de Rééducation et de Réadaptation becomes a pioneer in the field of rehabilitation and functional rehabilitation.

2008: A Social Action department to promote empowerment

Besides engaging in the health sector, Groupe AMH acts through its team of social workers to support people with vulnerabilities and disabilities in every step of their whole life project.

2011: Groupe AMH asserts its status as a social entrepreneurship organization

To broaden and reinforce its social impact, Groupe AMH renews its organization and starts engaging in various development projects.

2015: Launch of our educational and training activities

Institution Tahar Sebti joins the organization: both a school and a training center, its places innovation at the heart of its action and provide access to quality education to all.

2016: Act | Make | Hope, our ambition

The diversification of activities and the growth of Groupe AMH requires a change in its identity. Acting, Making, and Believing in its action becomes Groupe AMH’s ambition.

2018: Extension of Centre Hospitalier Noor

Centre Hospitalier Noor expands over an area of 2,000m². 20 new single rooms become available for short and longt-term stays.

2019: A 2nd medical center opens in Khouribga

With the opening of its second medical structure, this time in the city of Khouribga, Groupe AMH continues to improve access to quality healthcare to people with disabilities.

General Management implements and reports the group’s activities to the Bureau on a monthly basis, and to the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis. Then, depending on each project, the relevant operational teams are called upon.

Groupe AMH offers daily services in the field of health via Centre Hospitalier Noor present in Casablanca and Khouribga, in the field of autonomy via Action sociale and in the field of education and training through Institution Tahar Sebti and AMH Skills .
